Shocked, he had a great off season on Dancing With the Stars.

It's going to be really funny watching Artest gunning in the Bulls game as soon as he gets in the game.

I'm sure he'll figure it out as the season goes on, but I can't wait.

It's funny that he actually believes he is a huge offensive threat

So Ron Artest is going to provide the spark Odom usually provided. Mike Brown with his first genius-move.

Who is Ron going to play behind? Luke Walton? Jason Kapono?

I am sorry I am not in the know yet.

Barnes or Ebanks and it's a good move. Artest battling in the post like a pseudo big man is far better than having him on the perimeter where is totally lost.

This guy is a lunatic. Matt Barnes is better than Ron Ron anyways.

Seems like a good idea, Lakers will be more dangerous in transition at the start of the game with Barnes' speed. From there on, it's just subbing out for match-ups as the game goes on. Not genius, but certainly not an incoherent move.

Regardless of my support for the move, dropping Artest or trading him for a similarly bad player wouldn't be the worst idea.

Artest gets a lot of flak for his offense, but he is still a good defender and a better player than Matt Barnes

Artest is the best iso defender in the league, but he is an accident waiting to happen on offense. Not a good idea to use him as a spark.

Next experiment: Kobe off the bench.

6 Minutes on the bench at the start of the game. then 35 minutes of destruction. It could benefit in this condensed season.

I haven't paid attention to him... Does his jersey and **** really say World Peace on it? Are announcers going to refer to him as World Peace? What a circus act
