It seems like he is finally getting PT for the first time in his career.
As of now Byron "BJ" Mullens is averaging 11PPG 5RPG 49FG%.
btw Byron Mullens was once projected as a top 3 pick in the 2009 Draft Class, and was a former # 1 overall recruit in 2008 which also had Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings, Jrue Holiday, and Demar Derozan in the class.

Because of the NBA free pass, I've watched all of the Cat games and this kid is a flat out stud.

Hes been nice tonight. Hes got a nice midrange game and has a few blocks. Needs to play a bit tougher. He always needed time to develop, I think Charlotte is a great fit for him. They will give him the sun and water to blossom.

He's got three or four blocks. He's so polished offensively, it's crazy.

Yeah he's got blocks because they keep attacking him in the paint or getting offensive rebounds. He's not a good defender or rebounder by any means and this is comign from a fan. He's definitely worth the 2nd rounder traded for him just for that shot though

Wasn't he ranked #1 in his high school class?

This.
Around KD they need defense and players that don't take to many shots, cause Durant is able to score a lot. KD is the new face of the nba, they can't have a well balanced team in offense, it's not good for the market. KD has to put big stats and win, so only defense around him.

I don't remember much of Mullens in OKC but watching him with the Bobcats, the guy is really bad at drawing fouls which is critical for post play. He seems to shy away from contact but has been able to convert baskets because he has some polished post moves.

He literally cannot score in the post. Plus Ibaka is infinitely better than him and Collison is a much better defender.
We don't need any more tall jump shooters

His story on ESPN about Prison Ball was interesting. I wonder if he picked up a few tips playing there.

He had nice potential coming into the league, OKC just didn't play him.
He was pretty raw actually, he worked on his game you can tell.

I was going to write a serious reply, then I realized you're trolling.

Yup, and coming out of high school, he was (for just a little bit) considered to be a future top 5 pick. He was obviously exposed at Ohio State, but glad to see him having an impact for the Bobcats.

Defense.
DJ White also got no playing time in OKC and is starting for the Cats.
Presti knows talent.

Why does it matter where he scores? Is a basket underneath worth more than one from 12 feet out? What an odd statement to make.

To be fair, DJ is a much better player than BJ
