LOL you must HATE kobe bryant

not to say he should be your fav player at any time @ all, but im looking @ the years you liked these particular players. I can guarantee you hate Kobe w/ a Passion. all you are missing is Bibby.

Um, yeah. And not just because he's a Laker (althought that DOES have a little bit to do with it), but because of his rich history of chucking and selfishness. Not to mention his gigantic ego. No way in hell that Shaq & Kobe Laker team should have been broken up, IMO. I used to always play Snoop Dogg's "Pass It Pass It" as his unofficial theme song.

Yeah, I probably should have put Bibby on there, but I didn't wanna seem TOO homerish by putting too many Kings up there.

Until 98 - MJ and Sir Charles
After that - Timmy Duncan
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

96-98: Jordan
99-present: Kobe

I'm surprised that more people didn't move from being MJ fans to Kobe fans. Considering how similar they play, you'd think it would be more common.

You didnt have to tell me that you didnt hate the lakers and you only REALLY hate kobe. I can already tell.

T-Mac (cuz he was 1st player to be compared seriously to Kobe)
Iverson (cuz he was the anti-Kobe since 2000)
Chris Webber (cuz he was the best player on the Lakers biggest early 2000 rivals)
Lebron (cuz hes been the anti-kobe since he been in the league)
Nash (cuz he was Kobes nemesis from 06 to 09...same w/ Amare)
Arenas (cuz he put 60 on Kobe)
Wade (cuz he won shaq a ring)
Rondo (cuz he perhaps in the best player on the Lakers main rival + Kobe herbed him and pointed in his face on Live TV as if he was picking on him)

LOL @ your favorite players being your favorite players pretty much only for your hate for Kobe.

thats sad. its even more sad that I could point that out... so that makes me even sadder.

LOL

all you are missing in Ray Allen and Chris Childs.

Allan Houston
Chris Webber
Kevin Garnett (before he put on the evil Boston green; now hes a jerk)
Kurt Thomas (when he was on the Knicks)
David Lee (when he was on the Knicks)
Wilson Chandler (when he was on the Knicks)

Not sure who my favorite player is now.

Pre '95 it was Shawn Kemp
From then til now its been Kevin Garnett
When KG hangs em up, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will take over

Though in the early 90's as a kid i didnt see/appreciate enough of the players that i've gone back and watched a lot more of now, guys like Hakeem definitely would have been up there if I understood the league/game like I did a few years later.. Kemp was just showtime for a young dude who didnt really "get" defense, rebounding etc yet

KG was the first guy I had heard about, read about etc before they hit the nba "The Kid", followed every step of his career from then on

And have been following MKG for a few years now, outside of the trash talk and mean mugging he plays the game in a very similar mold to Garnett, impacts the game everywhere, extreme defensive talent and instincts.. cant wait to see him in the nba, shame the Celts wont have a pick high enough to get him
