How exactly is he overachieving? Dude has a great skillset and scoring instincts, it was evident from his college days.Foye wrote:Brooks is overachieving on a terrible Nets team (kinda like Jennings in his rookie year) and some people are already willing to pick him 2nd- 5th? Lol.

He's not even close to a 2 through 5 pick though.
Top 10 I would give you for sure, 2 through 5 is a little crazy though.
Irving, D Williams, Jonas, Tristan Thompson all locks to go above him just to start.
Kemba or Knight probably still should, at this point I'm not taking him over Burks either.
Even Kawhi Leonard.
The real joke though is people falling for the Norris Cole routine.
First rounder. especially in this draft? Sure.
Lotto pick? Hell no.
Jimmer looks awful the few games I saw him in as well.

Don't you realize that half the people in this thread already made this joke?
Do your friends think you're funny in real life?

Maybe Marshon instead of Burks at this point.
Edit* - Although if you doubled Burks opportunity, he'd probably give you similar results.

This place is insufferable.

I haven't seen Burks yet, but brooks efficiency has been very good he rarely turns the ball over and his defensive potential is very high. I know we haven't played Toronto yet but have you seen both brooks and burks?

That's all you needed to say.
Seriously, the 2011 draft will go down as one of the worst drafts ever. Rivaled maybe by the 2000 draft.... but even that one had some players come out of it. This one.... yikes.

I saw Burks against the Lakers and the Nuggets. I havent seen Brooks play yet. I hadnt realised that Burks opportunity had since increased since those first two games.

It won't go down that bad.
Irving is going to be a straight stud.
Derrick Williams should be as well.
Then you have a bunch of guys who should be solid starters and even fringe All Stars.
It certainly isn't going to go down as great draft, but the historically bad draft spin was bull **** to say the least.

All I know is Norris Cole would be up there. That kid is sick.
