The obvious difference is entertainment mixed with some analysis vs actual quality analysis
Shaq was on NBA TV during gametime last night and came off completely different and did a good job..
I think it's a conscious effort made by the TNT people to be more "entertaining" whether they actually accomplish that is up to the public...

Difference is, one has a complete dufus for comedic relief, which fails to even work most of the time. Kenny is probably the best NBA analyst out there.

Rick Kamla(had to google that name) is the best host hands down...
Chris Webber has also been surprisingly good analyst...
Also I'm surprised Greg Anthony hasn't gotten a front office job somewhere, he sounds that knowledgeable...
