Gonna go a little bit unorthodox here:

Pg- Lowary- Fast point guard who is a good passer and will push the temp. Super energy player
SG- Terry- Streaky energy player who is great at going on runs with his three point shooting and pull up
sf- Carmelo- all around great scorer who could also catch fire quickly. He does have the record for most points in a quarter after all
PF- Ryan Anderson- Good energy and 3 point shooter. This has enough ball handlers
C- Noah- the Ultimate energy guy tailor made for comebacks. Will grab every rebound, block shots, hustle, run the floor and get the occasional steal. Will grab the timely offensive rebounds and make good decisions dishing it back out. Isn't as much of a liability as Dwight is late in games regarding free throws. Dwight grabbing an offensive rebound will lead to him getting fouled and probably missing a free throw, hurting momentum. To make such a large comeback, you don't need post play. You need fastbreaks and three point shooting, and you need to keep momentum at all cost.

As a big Kobe, fan its hard for me to leave arguably the best streaky shooter in the league off this team. the problem with kobe is that even if he leads a 10-0 run and he'll keep shooting until he miss, and while he's great and might not miss the whole quarter, chances are that the momentum swing will end if he misses a couple of shots and during this whole time no other player has gotten in rythem. I feel like in this unique situation Terry might be the most valuable player to have, and I didn't want to exclude him. Also, I keep seeing Nash on these lists, but despite him being a great fit offensively, I don't think he provides the necessary stealing ability and energy on the defensive end to make such an epic comeback.

Or you could go with a team like and try to win the quarter 28-3:

Tony Allen
Kobe Bryant
Andre Iguodala
Kevin Garnett
Dwight Howard

CP3
Kobe
Durant
Aldridge
Howard

Best passing point guard...everyone's a threat on the floor.

Kobe & Durant gonna clutch.
Aldridge gonna feast from 10-15.
Howard gonna rebound/blk and prevent the other team from scoring inside

I dont think getting 3's is nessacarily the answer. I think Free Throws is. Think about it:
1. Clock is stopped. 25 points is alot, need to stretch out the game as much possible.
2. THe other teams good players fouling out means your 5 great ones going against scrubs
3. Give your team time to stay freash and RUN faster and harder

so...Who draws fouls well?

I instruct my team to attack the rim, attack the rim, attack the rim then if you get stuck kick out.

Wade - DWhistle -enough said - PLays the PG role
James Harden - Gets to the line loads, can hit 3's, Can playmake as well. Great on the break and a great finisher
Durant - Great at drawing fouls and good shooter from deep in the clutch
LeBron - Strong enough to play PF,plays passing lanes well, is a nightmare on the break, free throw drawer.
Chandler - Draws loads of FT's also(this year he's 12th overallat attempts)High FT% shooter compared to Dwight

Dwyane Wade
Kobe Bryant
Shane Battier
Pau Gasol
Tyson Chandler

Combination of Wade and Kobe should help put the other team in the bonus pretty early. Obviously Kobe and Wade are your two main options on offense. I'll still take Pau Gasol as the most complete big man in the game but not the most effective. Shane Battier for those heads up smart plays down the stretch, Tyson Chandler as the defensive anchor.

It would also be interesting to see something like

Steve Nash
Ray Allen
Kyle Korver
Dirk Nowitzki
Andrea Bargnani

i like the small ball lineup, but i'd take out kobe(no disrespect to kobe it was him or kd, and i like kd more) and put a spot up 3 point shooter like allen

rose
rayray
durant
lebron
lma

Who on earth would Hack-A-Dwight in the 4th quarter, up by 25? Dwight is there for defense, he's extremely clutch on defense (can't say the same for FTs).

Rose (fasssst, good passer, tall)
Wade (clutch and defense)
Carmelo (clutch, but liability on defense)
Dirk (can shoot anywhere and over anyone)
Dwight (defense and get other teams in foul trouble)
Fire Otis!

You'd probably have to get hot from outside, so

Curry
Allen
Durant
Dirk
Dwight for rebounds and outlets

really? Kevin Love? doesn't he get most of his stats when the outcome is already decided? If Kevin Love is on the floor you would remain down by 20-25 but his numbers would jump from 13/6 to 24/15 magically.

Chandler
Dirk
LeBron
Kobe
D. Williams

Chandler protects the rim and secures the offensive glass and I chose him over Dwight because he is a much better free throw shooter. Kobe and LeBron will get you free throws and fast break buckets and will be the best perimeter defenders on the team. Deron and Dirk will be the lethal pick and roll/pick and pop combo.
