adds nice size and helps spread the floor with other good shooters like lowry and martin. i think he can stick around the league for a while with his decent athleticism and his play on both ends

he's not as good of a shooter as budinger, but he's less passive. when your other wing is kevin martin, you have to have a SF who can do a little bit more than score or shoot.

i remember extolling the virtues of parsons' game on the bulls board to posters who wanted to take guys like david lighty and kyle singler over him. he's gonna be a nice pro. maybe a below average to average starter at his peak, but great 2nd round value. he was a 1st round pick to me.

Isn't he already starting?

He already beat out Terrance "Squid" Williams and Chase Budinger.

For a rookie, he's not all that bad defensively. Active and at 6'10, he's a better defender than Budinger already.

But i dont think he's as good offensively as that video would indicate. Don't see him becoming anything better than an average to below average starter. For a 2nd round pick, its good value though.

Boy, this year is crazy, I never knew there could be so many steals in one draft class.

You forgot Nikola Vucevic, that guy can play

And for the record, I think he's a solid prospect. But one good game really doesn't mean much at all. Being a starter is usually about consistency more than anything else.
