Last 3 games...

38, 8, 6
25, 8, 7
Is this a sign of things to come? Or just a blip.

I mean..
He's no Kyrie Irving. But I hope he turns out to be a good player.

Wall and Irving. Apples and oranges.

He coaxed Westbrook into playing a one on one game against him. He's showing some signs of basketball IQ.

More like Westbrook coaxed himself into playing 1v1

People jumped the gun on him...
Plus, I don't think he's really trying. He's frustrated as hell, and the team just sucks. Until the team around him shows signs of life, he'll probably play better as well.
Shouldn't be really worried about him

I know he got a lot of heat, but I don't recall anyone calling him a bust. He's still by far the best player from the 2010 draft class.

No.
He's not doing anything much different. The same problems are there. He's just getting to the line somewhat better.
A few calls your way can drastically affect your overall gameplay.
I mean look at how he scores. Lol, lots of his FGs come from simply outrunning the defense for a layup.
Sure, he can improve, but don't be fooled by his current play.

"Getting to to the line somewhat better" plays a HUGE role in John's continued improvement, as it means he's attacking the rim more frequently and with more fervor.
You don't put up a line of 38/8/6 by "simply outrunning the defense for a lay-up". Wall is definitely playing better.

His jumper has looked better the past 2 games.

7-Day, youre arguing with a Heat bandwagonner. Clearly he doesnt actually watch the games so his opinion is worthless.
As I said in the "Wall is a bust thread" and many others, Wall would come good, it would just take a few extra games to get back into the swing of things after the lockout shortened offseason.
Wall in the last few games is looking as good as last year, if not slightly better at some stages.

whats wrong with outrunning the defense for your points?
what a crappy argument, just like the guys who say "DWIGHTS POST GAME IS UGLY IT DOESNT MATTER THAT HE SCORES EFFICIENTLY CAUSE IT REALLY MATTERS HOW YOU SCORE YOUR POINTS"
Unless you score your points off long twos than it does matter cause your taking the worst shot in basketball

I'm glad. He was my ROY pick last season. I knew he wouldn't stay in that funk the whole season.

He's been getting to the rim in the half court a lot lately. That is why you see the increased free throw.
