Kemba Walker on pace for Historic Season

The human brickworks that is Kemba Walker is on pace to have the worst FG% in the three point era (among qualified players). If he drops even a little more (misses his next 2 FG), he'll have the worst FG% since 1966.
Think of some of the unconscionable chuckers that have come through the league in the last 46 years. Jennings. Baron. Antoine Walker. Kemba is on pace to top them all. Checking out his box scores is one of the most interesting parts of the season right now. Lucky for him the bobcats are actively attempting to lose games, so he should keep getting lots of opportunities to throw the ball in the general vicinity of the net.
Kemba watch 2012 is on! Just listen for the clank!
Currently 148 of 403 for 36.724%

It's funny because he's a decent three point shooter...How bad could one be inside the arc?

He's basically only decent when he's wide open (and not great even then). He's too short to shoot over people and hes got short arms so hes a terrible finisher at the rim. He his a decent clip from 3 but 60% of them are assisted. So most of his makes are wide open kickout type looks.
It was amazing to me how many people overlooked this in the draft process. This is a guy who was a bad shooter in HS, a bad shooter as a freshman, a bad shooter as a soph, and a bad shooter as a junior. And people expected him to come to the NBA where everyone is taller and longer and more athletic, and somehow shoot BETTER. It was hilarious to argue with some posters before the draft who really believed he could step in and be an efficient scorer.

Jeez, I didn't really even know he was doing this poorly! I thought at best Kemba would be a Six Man

This **** is killing my fantasy team. Every time I'm ready to drop him he goes off. I hate it.

Maybe he meant he'd average shooting 6 for 18. That would be fairly close.

One or two will bring up Pacers attendance. Another will bring up Paul George's height. Then there will be a DeRozan vs. Henderson war. Somehow Tyreke pops up. This thread is too predictable.

Here, we'll clear some of that up now. No one goes to pacers games. Oh well. Paul George may or may not be the height he is listed but is a good young player. Oh no. Henderson and Derozan both kinda suck but maybe they'll be good someday. Henderson is closer. Tyreke needs a change of scenery and a real PG next to him.

And some Bobcat players will eventually end up superstars.
Augustin - CP3
Henderson - Kobe
Biyombo - Dwight
Walker - Iverson

Some Raps fans wanted this guy over Val, too. A lot of people I know argued it for months. It'd of been mass suicide by now.

What's sick about this is that Biyombo-Dwight is the only one with a non-zero chance of happening. As clank-tastic as walker has been I've been impressed with the rapid growth of the youngest player in the NBA, with the least basketball experience of anyone in the league.

Yeah Biyombo is the only bobcats player that have potential to make a difference in the league. Hes gonna be the next ben wallace.

BC had to know his job was safe to pick Val. It would have been too risky not to. That's the kind of pick you make when you first become GM. Not when you've been in the lottery and will be for the next few seasons. It was definitely the right pick though.

I think hell develop an offensive game too. It won't be good, but it won't be Ben Wallace bad either.
