Honestly Woodson is not a bad coach for this team. Simplicity will probably work.

Shows that when a Star Player is disgruntled, the Coach has to leave... lol. Sloan and Williams and now Melo and D'Antoni... and perhaps Howard and Van Gundy. What a precedent.

The man screams a lot, but he does get stuff right.

Woodson won't be so terrible I think.

Melo's going to HATE Sloan next year however.

They really needed some sort of change. Probably the best trade deadline move they could have done.

Wow did not see that coming THAT abruptly. I mean, it was inevitable in the offseason but that caught me off guard.

Anyways, anybody happy will probably not be very happy after seeing Woodson in action. Dude is pure buttcheeks, and while he's renowned as a "defensive" minded coach, he a) doesn't coach offense and b) has a roster totally not designed to play defense first basketball. They may or may not do better playing iso basketball, but they better hope somebody good comes in in the offseason and they don't just promote Woodson long term.
