Mark Cuban: The organization finally lost patience with Odom

excerpts:"We tried to put him in a position to succeed. You guys saw it, saw what we did. It didn't work, And I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not? Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn't get a commitment. And that was the end."
Cuban said he tried to turn the situation into a positive "the first 17 times," but, with the defending NBA champions fighting for a playoff berth, the organization finally lost patience with Odom."We hope it's addition by subtraction," Cuban said. "Just put him in the Tariq Abdul-Wahad category and move on."
"Did I get my money's worth? No," Cuban said. "I don't know that the word's 'cheated.' But did I get my money's worth? No."

I'd be really upset if I was paying a guy as much as Cuban was paying Odom for what he was giving them.

Imagine if Cuban wasn't as liberal with his wallet as he is. He'd have surely murdered Odom and made it look like an accident by now.

He didn't heckle him, Odom is just an over-sensitive girl.

lol at the Tariq Abdul-Wahad comparison. Hard to see Odom recover from this. No matter what he accomplished with the Lakers, he will always be remembered for this year with the Mavericks.

Truly a clown.
Hand it to Odom... he's a fool! Hope he goes the way of Antoine Walker.
Point forward w/all the world's potential but a brain comprised of peanuts.

Leave that Kartrashian, Lamar! And come back to Miami when you do.

Odom is a clown. He should be friends with middle school girls so they can feel emotional and cry together and discuss their feelings.

I have no sympathy for bums like this. He's a long time NBA veteran and a lot of young players would die to be given so many opportunities. He can go back to porking STD infested Kardashian and leave the NBA to the players who aren't always mentally feeble crybabies 24-7.

He'll be back next year, probably with miami on a really cheap contract.
Pat Riley loves the guy, and the Miami Heat would be the perfect fit because they would keep his ass in shape and focused. Can't blame all of Dallas' problems on Lamar; the whole team were fat and unmotivated pigs this year.

3rd best player on a back2back champ, and 6th man of the year. You guys are ridiculous.
