Delonte On Fine: I Probably Wont Have Cable In A Couple Days

"When you've been to the principal's office," West said, "you don't really want to go back and see that ruler again."
West felt the NBA poke back at him as the league doled out the fine, which amounts to what West makes in about 21/2 games. At least he didn't lose his sense of humor over the fine, which is considerable since he makes the NBA veteran's minimum of $1.18 million.
"I didn't think it was going to be that steep," West said before Wednesday's game against Houston. "That's a whole month's check for me. I probably won't have cable in a couple days.

I think fines should be in line with nba players salary.

So if Kobe did the same thing, his fine would be close to a million dollars if fines were in line with players salary. 2.5 games? He makes like $300K something per game. That'd be funny as hell.

I forgot. But you pay taxes when you play in an income tax state.
So he's got tax on 33 games. Are the salaries prorated this year since there are only 66 games?
