I really think we should consider banning Dwight from the NBA.
He now represents everything that I abhor about it.

But he didnt announce his decision on tv while raising 3 million dollars for kids.
All in all, Dwight is not that bad when you put it in that perspective

IDK, I think LeBron is rooting for this, so his "most reviled player" status can finally be passed on to someone else.

I would support a year long ban. I think an example such as that would solve a lot of problems. Too bad it'll never happen.

So he's suing the Magic for what? For not stopping him from making the choice to opt into a contract for one more year and get paid millions to play for the organization? He's suing them for firing other employees at his discretion? Suing them for pursuing the request said player made for a trade but not being able to satisfactorily complete the request for the benefit of all parties?
The premise of such a suit should be thrown out faster than it can be filed.
The judge would probably just look at it and tell Dwight that he can break the contract legally. He just has to give up what is owed to him for the rest of the contract as well as the rights in free agency that come along with completing the contract.
The Magic have a better case for suing Dwight than he does for suing them.
