the irony in all this is the new cba restricted a lot of other teams from competing for howard by restricting their freedom...mighta been more attractive to him to have been a FA in the old CBA

kupchak did a good job, but its not ALL him..... considering howard has a list of 2 teams, and NJ basically bowed out of the running... and la also had the best trading chip...... same goes for nash, with the lakers brand and kobe, not too hard to sell him to it.... nevertheless kupchak still deserves credit and has probably locked exec of the year

the celtics team we just took to 7 games? they are now even older.... bynum is the best center in the league... and for those who think hes not better than dwight.. fine, hes the 2nd best then at worst... we added scorers/shooters in wright and nick young... jrue/turner/wright/hawes/bynum with nick young, thad young, kwame, lavoy, moultrie off the bench is SICK

It'll be interesting to see how Bynum responds as the number one option on offense. I wouldn't jump the gun just yet and call them the second best team in the East.
Replacing Iggy will be another obstacle. It's not easy replacing one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league who has been the team's number one option for years.
