OT - INTERNATIONAL NBA LEAGUE PASS

http://watch.nba.com/nba/subscribeSo what's the deal this year folks? who's in?
Original price is 159$ US(to me atleast), just got the 15% discount code though on the mail so that'll be around 135$ US this year.
Them fvkrs seem to have disabled the NBA TV option that they gave last year to whoever makes a regular season+playoff sub

I don't see that, OR the pause/play/rewind option they listed last year too. Anyone knows what's up with that?
Just goes to show how they royally double penetrated all of us last year paying MORE for LESS games, btw.. these dudes are just toying with us on a year to year basis - as an example last year we were asked to pay
219$ for 66 games - this year we're asked to pay
159$ for 82 games..
I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad.
As usual I think i'll cave and get it though, like the spineless guy that I am when it comes to the NBA.
Btw - anyone knows what happened to the last year costumer support forum? I hope that's not gone this year too - atleast that was one positive out of last year.

International league pass does not accept this code unfortunately. It's $99 here.

The price is still 219$ where I am from. Undecided if I will get the subscription or not, leaning towards yes.

Same here.
Will probably order in right around christmas time when they lower the price. A little too expensive IMO at this price and the start of the season isn't that exciting anyway.

Use a VPN to buy the Canadian version ?
Read that their's is 99 CAD which is more than half they are selling the ILP for (ILP costs 142 pounds for me converted while 99 CAD is 62 pounds converted)

Wouldn't you run into trouble when trying to use the service without the VPN? And I'm afraid the VPN would slow things down during regular usage.
Anyway, it's 139 for me (Argentina) without the 15% off. Still pretty much the only option left since the only SAT. Tv available in my city (Direct TV) refuses to carry the league pass, and pirate feeds are just not up to standards most of the time.

I paid $119 with the 15% off. Same as last year.
It worked great for me. No blackouts, no listening to Jacubovich. Good speed.

£141 in the UK this year. It's about time they think about bringing NBA TV to the PS3 or Apple TV in Europe.

Odd that there seems to be different pricing in every country. In the UK for the full season of ILP it's $219.99 and then after the discount code it's $186.99.
This is still far too rich for me. I have bought league pass for a few years but didn't bother during the lockout shortened season due to price hikes. I wish they'd offer the cheaper option of just paying for one teams games and until they do I'll stick to torrents and illegal streams.

It was like $100 in Canada last year. I won't get it because I have a full time job and will be studying for a professional designation for the next two years. I won't be watching enough games to justify buying the league pass. After that, I will probably buy the league pass every year.

I think I read they are bringing it to Xbox 360 so maybe PS3 as well.

Anyone use slingbox? If so do you think it's worth getting slingbox or international league pass? How is the quality watching broadband international league pass? Can you record or watch games after they have completed? With international league pass you can watch games on your computer right?

Personally I think £141 is still a good deal for every single regular season game plus playoffs live and archived..

The problem is you think you will see all games and then you have blackouts. Ok, you assume games on your local tv will be blacked out, but what I found is that I had one game on tv, and 3-4 blackouts. And those games blacked out were the most interesting games everyday (go figure). The list of blacked out games they posted was not being followed, I had 2-3 additional blackouts every day.
I reported it over and over to the support, with of course no real answer (support is a joke), so I never paid again.
You should at least give what you advertise, and if you warn of balckouts in advance, you should stick to what you said, not take the money and then do what you want.

I just subscribed in Australia but did the pay in the 5 monthly instalments.
Its 5 months of $35.53 which doesn't seem to bad at all.
I have foxtel but they only show 2-3 games a week and its only ever the ESPN games so never any 6ers games so League Pass is probably needed. Loved having it the last 2 years.
Question though, I'll be in Hawaii for a few weeks, will I still be able to access League Pass though or not?
I probably won't ever because I'll be doing other stuff but it would be cool if I have some chill time to watch a game or two.

I'm in a similar predicament.I live in Australia and will be buying the International League Pass, however I'm travelling to America for 6 weeks from late Oct - Early Dec and will still want to watch games on my league pass. Will I be able to with International League Pass while in America or will I need to purchase the US one also? Thanks.

You should probably email them about that one guys, they'll give you an answer.
In terms of blackouts I had non whatsoever in the last few years i'm subscribed.
Has anyone talked to them or figured out what exactly does the package contain? I mean they left out the 4 games split and live pause/play/rewind etc and haven't mentioned these stuff at all, which is worriyng cause they did all through the years.
Same goes obviously for the NBA.TV package they gave us free of charge last year.
Anyone knows about the pre-season games btw?
