Smush Parker Appreciation Thread

I've always contended that Smush never got his fair due during his stint in the NBA. He was athletic and had respectable numbers. What do you think his career would look like if he was drafted to a team other than the Lakers? I feel like he could have a respectable career.

He wasn't drafted and he played for 3 teams before the Lakers, and he had terrible numbers everywhere.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are trying to be humorous.

Bruce Bowen like defender guys. It's been an honor to witness his game. We may never see another.

Why'd you edit your "Bruce Lee" typo? I thought it was more appropriate, even Bowen had some Lee in him.

If he was put into a system that was more nurturing for a young player, I feel like he had the requisite physical tools to develop. If you put a young CP3 on that Lakers team, I don't think he would have the reigns to do so either.

I always felt he was treated unfairly by Kobe and the Lakers for the mere fact that he wasn't a good basketball player. Just because he couldn't play basketball doesn't mean he should be kicked off a basketball team.

It wasn't that he couldn't play, he was just really dumb. That's why he got cut from every NBA team.
