Dion Waiters looking more like a bust

Seriously. The guy was taken with the 4th? He doesn't fit in too well with Irving. Both of them are ball-dominant guards.
Waiters' stats:
1.8 rpg 2.2 apg 2 TOs 7.5 ppg on 36 FG percentage in 20 mins SMH
He's looking like a scrub and I wouldn't be surprised if he busts.

Cleveland took an L, worst possible pick they could've made.
The guy wasn't even a starter in college FFS.
Preseason has nothing to do with it, the guy was not talented enough to be a top 5 pick. Cleveland made a terrible choice. They should've picked Barnes or Drummond.

There should be a buyers beware attached to any guy coming out of Syracuse unless they led their team to the championship as a freshman.

terrible pick, he didn't even work out for them
no idea what they where thinking
you already have one of the best pg's in game on your team, get some bigs or forwards to go along with him.

Its preseason. He still has work to do. We ll see if the Cavs emphasis on advanced statistics pays off.

Doesn't matter if its preseason he is still playing the same sport he will be playing during the regular season. And he definitely looks like a bust.

Didn't I see this same thread about Kyrie Irving last year after his first regular season game? Something about Kyrie had only played a few college games, looked mediocre in his NBA debut and was going to bust.. SMH. Give the kid a chance.

Even if he was playing well in preseason, Waiters was definitely an odd pick with Irving already there.
Barnes, Ross, and Thomas Robinson all would've been much better picks in my opinion. Even taking a chance on drummond wouldn't have been the craziest thing in the world.
Do they think Alonzo Gee and CJ Miles are future all stars or something?

he was awful in summer league, he's been awful in preseason, and he was a sixth man in college. All the signs of greatness are there.

He's an average player, but definitely a bust at top 5 pick.

Everyone's going to have doubters. More than enough people saw a poor man's Chris Paul in Irving early, though.
