Rondo
- The guy proved himself when he carried the Celtics during the Bulls series.

Bynum
- The guy is the best post player in the league. One of the league leader in boards and blocks.

nobody is overrated. You're either a fan or you're not. Fans can look at a player as high or as low as they want.

Really, the answer is Kobe and Lebron, just because of how high they're rated. I do believe Kobe in number one though. He gets credit for everything positive happening within a mile of his presence, and people forget everything he does bad. I guess it's the LA effect.

If anything Rondo is underrated with people trying to minimize his value and performance even though he has been a perennial top 5 playoff performer for the past 3 years or so....

also Bynum, what the hell? The 2nd best C in the league who is arguably 1# offensively?

Rondo isn't overrated, rather I don't know where the Celts would be without him. He seems to really step-up during big games as well.

Bynum is a 7 foot center... Which makes him super valuable right from the get go. More importantly he has solid post moves and can play defense. He might be slightly overrated, but he still is the #2 center in the NBA regardless.

Griffin takes alot of heat for being overrated, but he makes incredible plays on a regular basis and is a perfect fit next to the pass happy Chris Paul. He is already a nightly double-double, and if he fixes his FT shooting he could be one of the leagues best scoring Power Forwards...

Players I do think are Overrated.
1. Carmelo Anthony- I don't think he will ever reach the Lebron/Wade/Bryant category in terms of being a complete player, and yet people talk about him like he is. He is a great scorer but he dominates the ball for extended periods of time and when he is cold he absolutely kills the Knicks Offense....

2. Kobe Bryant- He is still a top 10 player in the NBA, but his off-ball play is underwhelming and he no longer is a reliable 3 point threat. If you look at he player he was in his 35 ppg season and compare that to footage from last year it is like watching two different players. He should have a great year because of all the attention that teams will be paying Nash and Dwight, but he will also get most of the credit for the Lakers winning- which simply isn't the case.

3. Jason Kidd- watching the guy run up and down the floor is painful- just painful. Father time has claimed the star, but Kidd clearly hasn't realized it yet.

first of all, nice reasoning. What exactly about Blake is overrated? Averaging around 22/12.5/4ast in the second year while being a major contributor for a 2nd round playoff team is very great. Sure I know about his lack of defense, but as I said, 2 years in the league bro. So what is so overrated for projecting a very great (with some luck, HoF is possible, given his work ethic and progress till now) future

secondly, if anything Collison is underrated by now. I agree he was overrated when he put up numbers in NO in Pauls absence, but soon after he started for the Pacers everybody came back to realise he isnt all that great.
