Toney Douglas played the entire OT and Rockets loose. Supposedly for defensive purposes but when Douglas got into the game Lillard just went off on him. Stupid move by the coach. Whats going on?

Lin isn't very good. That's what happened.

do you even watch basketball? Lin played a great game tonight did a little of everything as usual. Douglas 9 pts 2 assists 2-11 shooting in 23min. Typical butthurt Knicks fan. And you wonder why people hate Knicks fans.

Lillard abused both Lin and Douglas tonight. Lillard just abused Douglas slightly less.

And that is why Kelvin Sampson is an interim head coach and not a head coach. He is a moron though and it wouldn't surprise me if he was either a racist or has something against Lin like 50% of this site does.

Lin was actually better defensively than Douglas tonight because Lin is a better overall player. He also defended Lillard better but this is why this Kelvin Sampson moron will never get a head coaching gig in the NBA.

Lillard dominated both Lin and Douglas.

Ironic that Douglas was subbed in for defensive purposes but allows Lillard to go off from three. Guess 11/11/6 isn't very good compared to bricking up floaters and shooting 2/11.

Lin was better offensively, but all the late game offense was going through Harden. I watched the game, and Douglas seemed to do a better job when defending Lillard.

lillard actaully scored like most of his points in 4th qtr and ot against douglas.

I'm a Lin fan and I'm going to be honest, Lin probably wouldn't have done any better guarding Lillard than Douglas. Which is why I understand the reasoning for ending the 4th with Douglas and maybe going into OT, but I don't get why Sampson didn't put Lin back in at least sometime during OT, after it was clear that there was no reason to play Douglas over Lin since Lillard was going off anyway. At least you'll get better offense.

Lettuce be reality, I DID watch the game, and saw Lillard blow by Lin whenever he wanted. Douglas at least forced him to take jumpshots (which he drained anyway). Would you rather have someone like Lillard take a jumpshot or drive to the basket, finish and draw a foul?

do you have a better explanation? Toney Douglas was absolutely garbage as usual the whole game. He was abused by Lillard a lot more than Lin was.

I didn't watch the game, and I'm sure you didn't either...but even you know that Douglas is complete garbage and is much worse than Lin.

You guys are missing the real question and that's is "Who wouldn't you play over Toney Douglas?" If you watched the game you would say Lin played better. If you were to look at the box score you would say Lin played better. In absolutely no scenario would you say Toney played better.
