Best destination for Cousins?

Demarcus Cousins has talent, but he seems stuck in a bad situation in Sacramento. Some of that may be his own fault with his flashes of immaturity. Where do you all think would be a good place for Cousins to flourish?

I think the spurs would be a perfect situation for him. He can learn from Timmy D and you have Pop. or a team like the celtics where you have guys like K.G and doc to keep him in check.

He needs a team/players/coaches that will flat out tell him that is a soft ass player to light a fire up his ass. A big mofo like him shouldn't be shooting at 40%, and even now I am getting less and less impressed with his rebounding because most of the times he is just rebounding his own shots that he should be making. A guy like him shouldn't have so much problems finishing at the basket and should realize that shooting jumpers aren't the way to go as a 7 foot 275 bigman. The thing is that he has shown flashes that he can be a badass. The difference between good and great players is that great players do everything in their ability to maximize their talent, Cousin isn't remotely there. I mean... flat out... should a 6'2 180 lb Tony Parker be a better inside threat than you? He needs to ask himself that... He can be a center piece for any team, but he has to apply himself.

Depends. Boston is maybe the best fit because KG could make him cry. Although any team that has a winning culture would be a place he could fit. In terms of his skills where he would fit best could be somewhere like OKC

Nah, there's nobody on the Thunder with enough personality to keep him in check. As much as I dislike the Celtics, I think that would be the best place for him.

I don't think people realize that Cousins is the cancer of the team, not the other way around. This was the biggest scare about drafting him out of College.

No, the Maloofs are the true cancer of the team. Better management from the top down could've made a huge difference. Now it's too late.

C'mon guys...stop saying Spurs. They're a good spot for pretty much ANY player.

He just needs to stay away from Keith Smart. Coming into this season Cousins was told by not-so-Smar to work on his 3pt shot and from that came a lot of low-percentage jumpshots and hanging out on the perimeter. Today for some reason he stayed inside for most of the game (still launched one 3-pointer) and suddenly there are relatively easy shots and offensive rebounds available.
Maybe it just Raptors though.

Yeah, nobody plays crappy against the Raptors. :D

I agree that he needs to be far from Smart. In fact that would be good advice for any player that wishes to remain sane.

Every player is in a bad situation in Sacramento.

Tons of talented pieces that just don't fit together, and ownership doesn't even care.

No, they don't really have the personalities to teach him, and the media would just eat him alive. He'd do better in a small market, which is why everyone says the Spurs. Indianna might be a good fit also.
