Right. So I don't know why everyone is talking stats. Team wins will decide it. Melo has good enough stats that even though durant and bron have better stats team record will decide it.

Team wins is important, but so are individual stats.

If Melo was averaging 22 a game and the Knicks still had this record, would we still be talking about him in the same light?

Durant is number one for me. His efficiency this season as a wing player is damn incredible.

Its reaching prime Adrian Dantley levels.

.65% and his team is on a 10 game winning streak, with career highs in FG%, 3P%, boards, assists, steals and blocks.

OKC also have the best record in the league.

For me, its:

KD
Melo
Lebron

Anyone else is irrelevant.

I think his point was a fair one. To win a 4th MVP in 5 years, he might have to do something special. Ardee called lebron the best player . . . so I'm not sure why you're going after him. (hope I don't get banned for posting that). Heat fan moderators are like refs. They play favorites.

Calm down. I'm saying the voters will want more then what he's already doing, which is a typical LeBron season. Of course, a typical LeBron season is usually good enough to be the best player in the league, but it's all about narrative when it comes to MVP voting.

If we're going strictly by storyline, I fully agree with you. The resurgence of the knicks is the story of the year so far. I don't think even Durant or Lebron have much of a MVP storyline to wow the idiot voters.

Precedent said Lebron couldn't win a 3rd MVP before winning a ring. Precedent said last year's MVP was Durant's to lose. Precedent doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. PEACE.

Right now it looks like it's a two man race between Melo and Durant (unless someone else steps up big time)
