Haha entertain as hell game. Brought his team back against mr. 5 points for every field goal attempt. Thread won't last though.

Harden has always been a scorer & playmaker....not so much a defender. McHale should have subbed in Lin for scrub, Douglas.

that was an awesome game. Harden played just as great too.

difference was at the end of the game, Mayo guarded Harden (did pretty well too) while Douglas/Parsons took their turns on Mayo.

40 pts is impressive, but I don't think it is more impressive against Harden, it is just impressive on it's own, good stuff.

Harden had 39 pts on 17 FGA himself, not the night to hate on him

this is also kind of misleading.

They didn't guard each other. Harden hardly ever guarded Mayo.

Mayo didn't start Guarding Harden until the 3rd, and pretty much took the lead in defending harden in the 4th.

The difference was that Carter **** bearhugged Douglas on the last play and that at the end of the day, Harden's best offensive partner is a 2nd year 2nd rounder.

Juice completely took over in the 4th & Houston had no answer for him. He made it look too easy.

When 15 of those pts came on FTs its not all that impressive. If Mayo got gifted 16 FTs he would've went for 50-60pts

oj can't drive so he's forced to bomb from range, harden's still the superior player even if he's harder to watch at times cuz of how he sells fouls

I've seen several people bash Harden for scoring efficiently...it's mind numbingly stupid.

So driving into the lane for FTs isn't impressive? It's certainly more sustainable than a player shooting above 52% from 3 for a season.

misleading title no doubt. But that fact that Harden didn't want to take the challenge to stop this man. Says alot about Harden.

We were just keeping Juice out of foul trouble, or he would have fouled out guarding Harden for 48 minutes.

I still have no idea why McHale didn't play Parsons (Rox best perimeter player) on Mayo more. Putting Delfino on him in the 4th was a n00b move.

Good win for us though, we needed it.

Harden was too much of a coward to defend Mayo, so that point is moot. Mayo actually took the challenge to guard Harden though.

The truth is Mayo is better than Harden.

Mayo is a better overall scorer, better at creating his own shot, better at scoring within the flow, better at keeping the ball-movement, better defender, etc.

he did, that's how Mayo went for that 16 pt outburst in the first quarter. after that, he had douglas on him.
