No, this team struggles so hard, it's hard for them to make to the playoffs this season

I'm done with the Lakers, man. Kobe with 42 points on over 50% FG and Dwight with 19/20 and THEY LOSE?
.
There is no hope for them. Till Nash changes this team, I'm done watching the lakers. It's just absurd how they can have two guys scoring 60 points on great percentage, GRAB 11 MORE REBOUNDS THAN THE OTHER TEAM and lose to Cleveland.

Age is their biggest issue. Even with Nash back and even if they would have a more defensive minded coach, all their main guys are a step slow, even Dwight lacks his explosiveness from his pre-back injury days (although he might get that back as the season goes on). Young teams can run circles around them.

The amount of both butthurt and pure ecstasy that will be released on this forum if the Lakers don't make the playoffs...Dwight's gotta take some of this blame if that happens. Understand he's recovering from back, but it seems unfair for Kobe and Gasol to get it all.

Chris Duhon. Nuff said.

He'll still be their problem even after Nash comes back.

Can they make the playoffs? Certainly. They have the talent to make a run and get back into contention.

Will they? There's a good chance that they won't. They are digging a hole they may not be able to climb out of.

Not even worth discussing unless another one of their big 4 goes down with another serious injury

yes they will, they probably will not have home court because of their early season struggles and injuries

Their real biggest problem is their whole team is relying on someone who is pushing 40 to keep them together. It doesn't matter if they are incredible with Nash on the floor because that is a very flimsy string you are putting the whole team on.
