Am I totally out of my mind for thinking this division race is over?
Sixers can't score consistently enough
Celtics look to be aging
Nets are a circus

In what way are the Nets a circus? Because they made a wise decision to fire Avery Johnson? You can't call a division race over when a team is only 4.5 gams behind one another in January. You never know if a team will catch the injury bug, and in the Knicks case break down since they are an old team. The Nets also have a pretty favorable schedule coming up, so they should continue winning.
So yes, you are out of your mind for thinking the Atlantic is definitely going to the Knicks.

^ race is far from over, but the Nets don't really have a favorable schedule coming up. Check their schedule from Jan 16 til Feb 5.... Far from favorable.

Nets are 4-1 since PJ has taken over, so I'm not sure why you brought up their record with Avery there as well.
Knicks are also 5-5 in their last 10 and have seemed to regressed a bit as well. I still have questions about how Amare and Melo will mesh.
You're right about the injury bug for the Knicks though, I shouldn't have mentioned that but I meant more along the lines of Melo or Chandler going down for an extended period of time. You just never know what will happen. But, to say a division race is over in January with the 2nd place team only 4.5 games behind is kinda foolish.

I didn't mean the Nets are a circus in the media as much as they are a circus on the basketball floor.
Their offense is extremely disjointed and the parts don't really fit.

I did already. The parts don't fit. Joe Johnson is useless without the ball in his hands. He doesn't do very much cutting off the ball and will just stand around waiting for something to happen. Your best scorer is probably Brook Lopez, but he isn't dominant enough to demand a double team, so teams just take their chances and single up on him. Then you have Deron who is half of what he was AND in a bad system for his particular skill set.

The Knicks will have the division this year. Anything still can happen, but I don't see anyone catching up with them

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Brook gets doubled constantly, and he's been better this year passing out of it then previous years. Under Avery, the majority of JJs touches were on ISOs, but since PJ has taken over, he's been catching and shooting more and running off of screens. Although Deron has been pretty bad this year and the last two, I'm not down on him as many others are. We've seen flashes of good and we know what he can do. It will come around. Just like it did for your boy, Melo.

Atlantic Division is NY's to lose, they've already been winning short handed so I think they can overcome any chemistry issues with Amar'e & later Shump joining the mix as long as there are no major injuries to key guys.

Lol here comes the knicks fans spewing their hate.
It's only January's, teams go in and out of slumps. It's too early to tell at this moment.
Clearly the nets are responding under pj and have won several games under him, including against the thunder. They are not disjointed, they are a new group entirely. I wouldn't write them off so fast.

Probably not.. but I think one of Chicago, Atlanta or Indy takes the #2 seed from them.
If BK doesn't move up into the 2-4 range, I really hope we face the Knicks in the 1st round. We match up with them very well and seemingly much better than Chicago or Indy.. not sure about Atlanta yet.
