They literally announced the suspension 1-2 hours before the game (after a 2 day layoff), not much time to appeal. Plus lets not pretend that Stu Jackson isn't the worst emplyee employed by the NBA.

I like Rondo, but he has a bad attitude. The NBA makes decisions based on history A good example would be MWP. When he fouls someone he has better chance to get suspended over other players. Nash wouldn't hurt a fly.

Nash didn't touch him in an intimidating manner.... I've seen many players touch refs before in a normal way and it's not an issue.

Pierce couldn't even knock out a 50-something year old ref.

Remember Kobe getting suspended twice for "unnatural basketball acts" twice a few seasons ago and Lebron doing the same exact thing in the playoffs that year with not a single **** word said from anyone.

I wish someone around here would dig that up. It was like mirror images, same exact plays.

Kobe was swinging his arms into his defenders after he shot. He actually injured more than one person and deserved the suspension. I don't recall Lebrons, but Kobe's was definitely fair

I don't know what's up with the embed, but here's Lebron's. Like I said, it's the exact same thing Kobe got suspended for.

Wade and LeBron could probably punch a ref and it wouldn't even be a T lol.

paul pierce actually punched a ref and didnt get a t, so you're hurting your own argument

Green front?

A hit yes, but it was an inadvertent hit. Unless Pierce has eyes in the back of his head.

Turk didn't have a history and it wasn't intimidating and he got suspended. I want to see Nash's booty out the game. In fact, by the end of this week I want the whole Lakers Big 4 not playing. We'll get Kobe for making his "Kobe Face" on the same floor as a ref.

I thought it looked pretty intimidating. Turk got called for a foul, he RUNS up to the ref and gets right up next to him and puts BOTH hands on his shoulders. Maybe Turk is a touchy feely guy but I thought it crossed the line 100%.

I haven't seen the Nash touch, so I'm not sure what happened.

if he did touch the ref, a suspension is warranted if the nba wants to be consistent. turk got games for touching the refs shoulders and there was nothing threatening about it.

I don't think Nash will or should get suspended but the league needs a zero tolerance policy. DO NOT touch a ref period. Because right now, it's just someone's interpretation of what should be suspend-able and that can lead to too much bias.

Really that was non-threatening? Turk ran up on him and grabbed him. That was a bad example.

Sometimes players pat the ref on the back or behind while or after they're discussing a call. When you start bumping or grabbing a ref that's a different story.

His name is not Rondo, so probably no.

Anyone who expects the NBA to be consistent with their calls must be out of their damn minds and lives in lala land, and I question if they really follow the NBA the last 20 odd years.
