Harden over CP3.

don't laugh! harden doesn't have a pf or a center that can catch a lob. :D

Can we change the title of this thread? LeBron Watch?

So far;

18 points(8-10 shooting), 7 rebounds, 6 assists in 26 minutes of work.

Current status of the MVP race:

Only way it becomes interesting again is if LeBron lets Durant back into the conversation.

Not sure that's going to happen.
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** Luka made the playoffs without Brunson
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs without Klay

The question is who has a better chance of sneaking in for the upset? Durant or CP3. CP3 is up vs the Spurs after this game.

Didn't realize this until now but the Heat have been 38-14 each of the 3 years the big 3 have been together. They ended up being 39-14 after it was said and done and then lost the next one to be 39-15.

LeBron's PER was 31.4 going into tonight's game. That would be the 7th-best single-season PER ever, if he finished at that number:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/lea ... eason.html

LeBron's raw efficiency number from tonight's game was 39. So, his PER is going to go up.

He has a real chance to reach the all-time mark of 31.84 by Wilt. He might not get there, but he has a real chance to get there if he wants it.

Lebron's PER after tonight is 31.58. Also, he'll break the record this season.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Nice, thanks for the calculation.

It's right there for him. You know he is aware of it, and wants it. With the way he is shooting, and the lead Miami has in the East, it's his for the taking. He can focus on stats now if he wants.

It would be one heck of an achievement.

It's ridiculous to see that LeBron's likely to have 4 MVPs before he even reaches the age of 30. IMO he should already have 4(the 2010-2011 MVP should've been his IMO), but that's neither here nor there. The guy could realistically finish with more MVP awards than anybody in NBA history. Just ridiculous :o

Yeah I think Kareem had 5 MVP's by 29 and Russell got his 5th by 30.
