Power hungry Moderators?

What's with the power hungry Moderators locking threads because people don't agree with them? More specifically, I've seen a few threads locked by tsherkin over the past week after people have questioned his opinions.

I'm not talking about new one-page threads. Threads that have a good 15 pages or so are just abruptly ended for no other reason, and the common trend on the last couple of pages are usually 2-3 people ganging up on the Moderator and telling him/her why they're wrong (a.k.a debating).

Is RealGM no longer a Democracy?

I did not read anywhere in the RealGM terms of service that the discussion forum is bounded by the principles of democracy.

Take this to the Feedback forum, where it belongs. Also, bitterness after catching a warning for derailing last month is unbecoming.
