It only works with certain logos, I think. Some logos just wouldn't work front and center on a jersey. Like the Bucks...

The league was overrun with some terrible designs in the second half of the nineties. Thankfully they've gone back to a cleaner, understated look in recent years.

The logo type jerseys are usually worn often in China.
