That Wallace contract is toxic for a rebuild situation.

Danny Ainge gone full (Please Use More Appropriate Word) if the trade goes down.

Ainge loves first round picks...But they are all in the bottom.

Highly doubt this happens. Wallace's contract is one of the worst and he plays the same position as Jeff Green. I just don't see Brooklyn having the assets to make a deal.

Does KG care about the Nets being in the same division? I can understand not wanting to play for Miami given their ongoing rivalry but the Nets have been a fairly irrelevant team for the past 6 or 7 years.

I'd take that for a rebuild. 3 first rounders? With no guarantee the Nets will have more than 1 great year in them? They should be able to swallow Wallace's contract. Plus going to what would be a winning situation to end his career, is something KG will probably agree to.

Does KG care about the Nets being in the same division? I can understand not wanting to play for Miami given their ongoing rivalry but the Nets have been a fairly irrelevant team for the past 6 or 7 years.

The issue is that Brooklyn is not winning anything next year, why pack up your bags when you can just lose in Boston?

I'm not a fan of Brooklyn's current roster. But add Pierce and KG and I have a hard time hating on that group.

Pierce and KG bring so much leadership, toughness and defensive savvy. Three areas where the Nets are weak. Like I said, not a realistic possibility of happening from my vantage point but in fantasy land this would make the Nets pretty damn good.

They'd become contenders. This has to happen!!!

Three first round picks is awesome for the Celts. They can also make the playoffs next year.

yeah, the first thing that came to mind when I saw this trade was just how many first round picks the Nets would have given up to acquire Pierce and Garnett and the end of their careers
