NBA Fantasy Draft every 5 years?

Would that be kind of cool? Every 5 years every player is released from their contracts and enters into the draft pool. The draft order is completely randomized, and it will be a snake draft to keep all teams even.
Would be massive excitement, have the draft over a week with a round or 2 each day. Everyone would watch because they want to see how their team is assembled. This is what parity is all about. I believe that the NBA could become bigger than the NFL if that happened IMO.
Teams would never tank for the rookie draft because it's not as valuable. Rebuilding teams can just start concentrating on the next Fantasy Draft and start over completely.
