Worst FT shooter of 13/14

Who's going to become the worst FT shooter of the 2013/14 regular season?

I've listed three names, but you can add someone you think might be worse.

Now, obviously both Jordan (42%) & Drummond (24%) are absolutely abysmal FT shooters. However, it seems like Drummond tries to be more passive and is purposefully avoiding situations where he could be fouled and sent to the free-throw line and DeAndre is just a garbage-man on his team, so Dwight's (54%) poor shooting might be hurting his team more as he is taking much more FT attemps per game than any other C in this league.

What do you think?

Drummond is the worst free throw shooter, but Dwight is by far the one who's poor FT shooting hurts his team the most.

Andre rarely gets to line.

Howard's FT hurts the most, but at the same time he helps the most his team to win games.

What the hell, did not realise it was that bad. Your average YMCA guy could do better than 24%

I think it's perceived as 'uncool'. Although, to me personally, a dominant center who can shoot FTs is very cool.

Dwight right now is 54.3% FT shooter. That means per possession he generates 1.23 pts, or in other words his FT possessions generate 123 ortg! So this whole thing with DH's FT is overblown. Sure, in comaprison to most players he's bad shooter, but in reality that still good result (123 ortg would be by far the best in the NBA).

BTW, hack a someone tactic is smart move only when someone shots below 52% from FT (so below 104 ortg - ardoun league average) and ideally it would be below 50% (so below 100 ortg).

I saw a Detroit game the other day and was shocked at how poor Drummond shoots. Technically there isn't that much wrong, it is just that he is seemingly unable to get any appropriate length on the shot. Oddly enough, I recognise the problem: I've needed glasses since I was about 16, gradually my eyes got a bit worse and now I play basketball and can't judge the depth of the shot without my glasses on. Makes you wonder huh.

52% = 104 ortg

54% = 123 ortg?

I don't think its overblown. If a player misses double digit free throws of course there is a problem.

Math a little off. 54.3% is 1.08 points per possession. And comparing a hack a Dwight tactic to the league average doesn't make sense. Compare it to the team they are playing on. When Houston offense has it rolling, their offensive rating probably Hovers around 110 to 115.

Laker fans nominate Xavier Henry. For a guard, his FT % is pathetic.

What the hell? Deandre Jordan's shooting 40% and Drummond 24%? Good God. These guys make Howard look like Nash.

That was my immediate thought too regarding that comment. But I think he means DeAndre.
