I just thought of the #1 way to win Slam Dunk Contest!! So original yet a salute piece!!!

You know how they brought out a separate hoop that was taller. Well, I would bring out a separate hoop, that is custom made.

It would be regular size, BUT, when you hang on it, it SHATTERS. So you do a power dunk and hang on it, and shatter it like your Shaq! that would get you originality, and to get the fans to go crazy!!!!

Arne Duncan's amazing though. He's been snubbed for the MVP the last two years (2012 in particular). It's always fan vote; Bieber beat out a legitimately great game from Pipp a few years back.
