Post#1 » by Jordan45822 » Thu Jul 3, 2014 8:32 pm

@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN has learmed that Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks have agreed to terms on three-year deal

EDIT: http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story/_/i ... -mavericks (3rd year is player option and he still keeps his rare no-trade clause)

@ESPNSteinLine: Dirk always likely to be first major free agent to decide. Sources say sides agreed today to three-year pact believed to be in $30M ballpark

Looks like Tim Duncan type deal (with extra year)

It's amazing that Dirk, Duncan, and Kobe are still on their original teams. Bodes well for their legacy IMO.

Wow 3 years, that was unexpected for me. He'll practically be playing until he turns 39. Good for him. Wonder what the terms are, probably 3/30M? They actually have tons of cap room.

Is it though? Doesn't it have to at least contain a portion of truth to be funny? Anyway, this means no Anthony i guess? I mean, figured it was a long shot, but this essentially confirms that it won't happen, right?

Luol Deng would be a very nice option IMO, I think he would get overpaid though.

I don't know, i'd rather go after Stephenson. I think he could play SF for us.

Green font? Can't tell.
22 PPG on super high efficiency doesn't exactly scream role player.
10th in PER, 11th in Win Shares, ORtg of 120, guy's flat out balling.

Anyways, it's the KG/Duncan deal.
KG 3/36 at 36
Duncan 3/30 at 36
Dirk 3/30 at 36
These guys, man. Bonded forever.
I've come to the conclusion that most folks don't really care that you broke one of the rules... they just enjoy telling you that you broke it.
