I would give a dollar extra to one brother just for a laugh

i could see a case where the Suns FO sat both brothers down and told them, " we willing to give this one lump sum for the BOTH of you, come back to us another day when you both decide how to split between yourselves."
This has to be one of the most unique negotiating process in history

It would be bad business to allow them to split this however they wanted to. Still a business and need to look into possible trades in the future if needed.

In order to come to their proper value, what you've gotta do is to estimate the approximate value of the Olsen Twins to Full House in the early 90s and then adjust for inflation.

I'm guessing something like 4/34 for Kieff and 4/18 for Marcus.

28 Million for Kieff
24 Million for Marcus
based on the 52 million dollar figure..
If its upto me, it'lll be 28/4 for Kieff, 20/4 for Marcus... just to keep them relatively "close"

Can they include a "can't be traded without the other" clause?

Don't know, but it'd be funny if a team traded for the better brother (Markieff?) and they secretly shipped out Marcus and pretended he was the one with the higher salary

Ryan McDonough is a walking talking NBA GM troll-face

Fantastic week for Phoenix. Keeping Bledsoe at less than the max (5/70 is still too much - I won't be surprised if they end up trading him) and keeping both Morrises for a combined total of 13 million per year.
I don't think Marcus is necessarily a key piece, but Markieff was great last year, a genuine 6MOY candidate, and hopefully will really come into his own as he's promoted to the starting lineup. Marcus will get more minutes too, now that Frye is gone.
I imagine it's something like Markieff - 4/34 and Marcus - 4/18. Which I think are both fairly reasonable deals.
Great work by Phoenix this summer.

eh. this isn't my favorite of the offseason moves. it's my least favorite, actually. but i loved all the other Suns moves so far so i still kinda like this one. i guess.
i thought Kieff was worth 7 or 8 mil. i think that's a little more than I'd pay for Marcus if i were looking at his play in isolation, but I'm not-- the contracts go together obviously.
they're tradeable and Markieff
could make his contract look like a bargain by February. (but i doubt it)
anyway I'm happy because the Suns as constructed are going to rely
so much on the Morris brothers this season. with their extensions outta the way that's one less obstacle for the team to worry about.
i just want the Suns to make the playoffs again. this is the longest playoff drought in my adult life. i don't know how you guys do it who are fans of teams that consistently miss the POs. God bless you and your patience.

Both of them are nice players, especially Markieff. Nice move by the suns.
