LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin said his frustration over continued hard fouls "probably" will result in him retaliating if it continues.
Griffin and Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker had to be separated in the third quarter of the Clippers' 101-97 preseason win Friday when Booker fouled Griffin hard in midair. After they exchanged words, Griffin grabbed the back of Booker's head before both players were pulled back by their teammates.
"I was going to, but then I thought, 'It's preseason,'" Griffin said when asked about retaliating. "It's not worth it. That's not the person I want to waste it on."
Clippers coach Doc Rivers said he doesn't want to see Griffin retaliate, but admitted the continued cheap shots are taking their toll on him.
"You don't ever want him to do anything but he gets hit with more cheap shots than anybody in the league," Rivers said. "I don't even think it's close."

I have seen Blake constantly pull down bigs with him whenever he falls down. Similar to what Wade did to Rondo when he broke his arm.
He's full of it.

Fake thug. Play the game and complain less. Already one of the most babied forwards in the league.
One of these days, Blakey is going to get hurt badly.

Then he needs to stop being such a dick on the court with his flops and dirty play at times. You better be able to take it if you intend to dish it out. He seems to have developed an extreme dislike by players around the league.

No cheap shot there, just a good hard foul. Booker also tried to make sure Griffin stayed on his feet.

He also tries to pull slick things like this( wrapped Ibaka's foot with his feet, Ibaka got a tech for this).

Another caused an ejection.

That's the point of them.
Guys are trying to get under his skin and its working, it also doesn't help that he's guilty of playing dirty as well.

The narrative for Griffin isn't as simplistic as people are making it out to be.
Blake flopped a lot especially in the 2011-12 & 2012-13 seasons.
However, over the last two seasons I've also noticed players hitting Blake with a lot of unnecessary cheap shots. I don't know if it was in response to his flopping but in the last two postseasons, Blake developed a reputation (first, with Memphis) that if you got physical with him, it would affect him mentally and throw him off his game. If you were able to get Blake off his game, it would drastically affect the Clippers overall performance.
It got bad enough to the point where Charles Barkley repeatedly discussed the issue last season because players were routinely doing this even when Blake wasn't flopping.
With this particular instance, I do see Blake overreacting Booker wasn't trying to do him harm, but I completely understand Blake's frustration because it's the preseason and he's already getting hit.

Not surprising that Blake Griffin is the most hated guy on the court these days. Probably pisses people off with all the antics that he does.

Then stop flopping all the time and you will get the benefit of some calls

My favorite part is when he puts his hand on Bookers neck and just stood there. Then his teammates come and he goes nuts like he wanted to kill him. The epitome of a fake tough guy. He had the chance to do something and didn't take it. Once his teammates were there he was all like "hold me back guys hold me back"

Your username would suggest you know much about what constitutes as a cheap shot. This is pretty much your field.

This guy is going to be so good once he realizes what the game of basketball is all about...meaning he needs to understand that EVERYTHING is part of the game. Whatever happens out on the court, happens. Refs, fans, cheap shots, lights going out, air conditioning going out, etc etc, it's all part of the game. So he just need slow the game down, focus on the game possession to possession, and stay within himself. He's still a young buck with tremendous talent and a raw appreciation for what it truly takes to be a HOFer (which I think he will eventually be but needs to slow the damn game down for himself)

LOL notice how he keeps Booker close by grabbing him around the neck and conveniently waits for Hawes and Douglas-Roberts to arrive to hold him back before lunging at him.
He was like, "Trevor, wait here ... I need to act tough."
