ESPN OKC: Reggie Jackson Wants Out Of OKC

A restricted free agent this summer, Jackson hasn't been shy about his desired role. He's made it abundantly clear over and over again that he wants to be a starter. He wants the captaincy of a team, the responsibility of being the primary option.
The money is important for Jackson, but not because he wants to be rich. It's because it could be his ticket out of town, his way to get to the role he so badly wants.
But Jackson's increasing attitude issues, and the fact that Waiters could fit better with Durant and Westbrook in closing lineups, the Thunder have the option to pull the plug.
With teams knowing Jackson wants a way out, the Thunder will have a hard time getting good value in return.

This response is for the REAL STORY (Game6) here and not the lower-case story (RJax/OKC)...
"Wooooooooooow". - BEH

Well, that's a good topic of discussion... RJackson delusions of grandeur!
He's due to a biiiiiig head on colision with that wall named reality... and it wont be pretty.
But as a RGMer... bring the popcorn!

Isn't Miami is the only place where he'd start at PG?

Heat would probably have a better use for Reggie than Brook Lopez...

Trading away the 2015 NY first rounder for a player like Jackson sounds like a typical Knicks deal.

Please, it's always about the money. I bet you if OKC had offered him the max last offseason, he'd be a lot happier right now.
This whole starting thing, bigger role, getting out, it's all just saying he wants a platform for getting paid. And OKC's not willing to pay him.

Someone should inform Reggie that he simply isn't that good.

Sign the QO then this off-season and be a UFA the next year because he ain't gonna get a offer this season that would dissuade OKC from matching.

Cue Reggie Jackson being one of the most hated players on these boards.
Anyone with any kind of ambition beyond what RealGM would "like" for them becomes an enemy on this forum. It's sad really.
