With all this talk about Hack-A-Dwight/Jordan. People's solution is that they need a shooting coach.

Who are the best shooting coaches in the NBA ? the only ones i'm aware of is Chip Engelland ( Spurs) and Dave Hopla ( Knicks)

The coach doesn't matter if the player won't listen or practice.

Probably whoever is teaching Dwight Howard. He still sucks but his shooting form is much improved since he came to the league.

Whoever helped Elton Brand. ELton Brand couldn't hit jumpers when he entered the league. Then when the Clippers were making the playoffs he was the new Karl Malone hitting mid range jumpers on the daily.

Same with Blake Griffin. His jump shot has improved a lot.

Bob Thate fixed Ason Kidd, and has been working with Blake and DJ for 3 years.

Chris Jent helped LeBron with his shot, iirc.

Helped BMac's jumper too. It was ass in rookie year and now it's good.

Josh Oppenheimer is the coach for Milwaukee. He also runs his own side business for it with a pretty good client list.

Quin Snyder helped DeMarre Carrol's shot in Atlanta, and Trevor Booker shoots 3's now. So I guess he's doing okay.

Yeah Holger pretty much invented the one-legged fadeaway, and thus one of the most unguardable shots in histoy.
He's been coaching the greatest shooting 7-footer of all-time for over 20 years now.
Several NBA teams tried to hire him (last I heard: Wolves for Rubio) - and he's always been like "Just come to my tiny, dirty gym in Southern Germany, I'll be there & available for anyone who needs help, for free".
He's a multi-millionaire, living in a castle, and running his "Institute of Applied Nonsense" business consulting agency.

Just saying: If you want to become a great shooter, just go to this tiny, dusty gym near Würzburg - he'll be there. At no charge.
