Road Teams Are 8-1 in Playoffs with Scott Foster Officiating

Tim Donaghy's former pal is reffing tonights ATL-CLE game.

The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering.....During this period, the most calls Donaghy made to any other referee were 13. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/07/14 ... raise.html

Last time he was in ATL was for Game 1 against WAS, Horford got called for a a buch of ticky-tack fouls and played only 30 minutes(= more Pero bricks).

The other refs for tonights game are Jason Phillips (road teams are 4-3 in PO's) & Pat Fraher (road teams 4-1 in PO's). Will be interesting to see how this game is called as Lebron in the finals is a lot more lucrative for the NBA than the Hawks.

Scott Foster is legitimately awful so his post has merit.

Without Love this series should be pretty evenly matched. I just want to see a fairly reffed series but Foster's history gives me reservations.

As a warrior fan I agree with this post. Thereis refstat whwre Foster calls foul on Draymond Green every 8 mins while rest of the refs every 30 mins. I just pray that he is not officiating Dubs.

NBA feels so WWE, it all seems scripted, the difference everyone knows WWE is scripted, but this guy was the one that looked of coach Blatt calling a timeout, without them having one.

Cavs have also never won a game one on the road in the ECF. Records don't mean much. They all contradict one another.

I thought a Heat fan, after years of being told that you receive unfair treatment from the refs, wouldnt stoop so low.

Yeah. This is what happens when we trust the NBA to investigate the NBA to see if the NBA has corrupt officials. Dude is BFFs with a known cheater (who pulled a Canseco and put the whole league on blast) and he's probably the worst official in the league.
