Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
If Jordan does this, he'll be blackballed from the other 29 teams. It would be an awful way to do business.

Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
It would be a total joke if he changed his decision. He committed to the Mavs, which by media, teams, everyone, is basically official.

Please do this Deandre, to make it even easier for everyone to hate the Clippers, and easier for the Jazz to make the playoffs, win/win.

I also feel like the moratorium needs to be moved up. Do it a day or two after the draft. Why have free agency begin July 1, but can't officially sign until 8 days later? What are the auditors doing between draft night and July 1 that they can't get it done in a similar fashion?

Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
I think only Celtics fans have to be hoping this happens (owning the Mavericks pick and Pierce signing in LA, probably assuming DJ would be there for a shot at the championship). But even then, would be a bitch move.

Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
this will be embarrassing if he decides the stay a mav
On a second hand why would he let the Clippers get another meeting if he made his decision as a Mav. Not looking for good Cuban and company.

I'd say the Clippers have burned bridges with ever doing business with Dallas again. And if Jordan does the unexpected and goes back to the Clippers Dan Fegan will have burned bridges with an organization that has been extraordinarily good to his clients.
I have held my tongue despite tons of bitter Clipper fans trashing Jordan--I will laugh forever if he comes back and he's once again talked about as a good player.
I also held my tongue when those same bitter fans were ripping the Mavs. I hope I still can after this, but I might have to self-ban myself for protection.

I've never seen a team this desperate. Have some pride Clippers.

Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
JKidd screwed us exactly like that once, but a) there's really no way I think this happens again & b) if it does you'd obviously don't want DeAndre in a Mavs jersey anyway. But let's chill a little here, Stein's not reporting that DeAndre is overthinking his decision, he's solely reporting about the Clippers' FO playing overly attached EX-GF & nothing more.

Re: Clippers lobbying to change DeAndre Jordan's decision
Mavs fan here, not worried at all. It doesn't say "Jordan is reconsidering joining the Mavs" just Clippers begging him to say. This is akin to a couple breaking up and the one the most in love who got dumped begging the other to stay.

This is only going to end in one of the 2 involved parties being embarrassed like a little bitch.

Well what could prevent him from changing his mind. Nothing is signed correct?
