I'm appalled at the inequal value here. I imagine something must be coming for Orlando with Oladipo/Payton/Jennings all as capable lead ball-handlers.

Framework seems to be Tobias Harris to DET for Ersan Ilyasova and Brandon Jennings to ORL.

Seems like DET is coming out way ahead on talent, albeit one that still needs developing. SVG is probably betting on Harris improving his 3P shooting to be the athletic, floor spacing 4 he wants next to Drummond. As a plus, Harris has a few years left on a declining contract. Pretty good get for DET.

ORL gets out from that contract but for two vets with limited upside. Jennings and Ilysova add immediate help shooting and with experience, but they're both FA in a FA-friendly market.

Aaron Gordon should be getting minutes at the 4, so hopefully that happens with Ilyasova getting backup minutes when Gordon sits or slides to the 3 but man, seems like DET should be sending out a pick of some sort (lotto protected 1st perhaps)? They're getting such great value.

Wow this seems terrible for Orlando, steal for Detroit if as reported.

Reading the initial tweets I would have sworn there would be picks involved. No picks, that's bad.

It looks like the Magic are simply looking to shed the Harris contract if this is all the deal comes down to. It will allow some of their other young guys to develop if they're not going to challenge for the playoffs this year.

Didn't Skiles quit the Milwaukee job because he hated his team that was composed of Jennings and Ersan?

You should probably feel awful. Toby is a great piece and Jennings is an iso-beast that will kills your team's ball-movement. He is Lou Will on steroids.

He's be great on your 2nd unit/ 6th man. Not to be used as a starter on a contender.

FTR: Ilyasova is an extremely underrated role player. But come on, you dont trade a player like Harris for a role player... that's what bad teams do.

Yikes Orlando...thought they could get more for Tobias.

What are the Magic thinking with this? I understand they may want to work other guys into the rotation, but Harris is still young and how does Jennings even with fit with Payne? This is a weird move for them...

Steal for the Pistons, I think this could help take them to another level.

I remember when everyone thought the Magic trading Redick for Harris was some big coup and now the Magic are giving him away for this package?

And I don't get it for Orlando...is Harris or Morris gonna play PF for them now? They already have a young rising potential star in Stanley Johnson, I don't know if they needed another SF...
