At what point do we need to start holding some in the Clipper front office accountable for these sorts of things? Blake has had multiple issues even prior to the major one this year and now another guy.

Doc and Balmer need to take some heat for this imo. I know this is just going to land me in trouble with the everyonehatestheclippers crowd here, but the question needs to be raised.

Balmer and Rivers don't have to take heat for the actions of other grown men.

this is the NBA. Not college. Dudes are expected to behave and if they don't their contract will be terminated.

for their actions, no. I'd agree. But I think its worth pursuing to see if they are in fact condoning some of this by the kid gloves treatment they have extended to Blake on multiple occasions. You get the culture you demand.

3 games played and 4.7 mpg. This shouldnt even be considered team related.

I don't think you can include him into the Clippers "culture". He's a d leaguer, has he even played a game for the Clippers yet or been around the team for more than a week?

Just this. They are paying these guys millions of dollars, part of that is they expect these players to behave like men. It's not up to Rivers and Balmer to look after them.

Take a paper and draw 30 squares. Grab a fistful of bad seeds and throw on that paper and you'll see that some squares will get more than a couple and others none just by randomness.

Then blame it on Ballmer and Rivers.

What is the idea solution that wouldn't be kid glove treatment? They suspended him and took his money. At that point its time to move on.

Trying to pin this on the clippers is so stupid. Blaming domestic violence on a "culture issue" in the organisation.

Guy is obviously just a scumbag, his 14 minutes of time on the clippers didnt breed him into that. Seriously.

It's okay. It's clear I'm pretty alone in my concerns here and I'm willing to admit to possibly reading too much into it. However I will admit that I have lost a lot of the respect I once had for Doc Rivers over how he handled a number of situations including but certainly not limited to the Blake Griffin situation.

And with domestic violence being such an important issue in our country at the moment, I'd think the NBA and the Clippers would want to learn from the mistakes the NFL made in handling it with their players. And the Blake situation while not domestic violence isn't that far removed from in with the nature of the relationship of those involved.

Yeah doc needs to stop encouraging his players to beat women.

This is dumb. Clippers have nothing to do with a Guy beating a girl up.
