matthews and parsons were both just consolation prizes for a mavs franchise that hasnt been able to attract big name players. Matthews drop has been significant from arguably a borderline all-star caliber player to being a role player at best.

Roll player? Hah! I wish. Matthews is arguably the *worst* starting SG in the NBA. Has the 2nd worst FG% of any starting SG (behind Kobe). Literally *all* he can do is shoot threes. Emphasis on shoot, because he misses them usually. Can't drive, can't pass, can't rebound. Post-up game is gone. Horrible at fighting through screens, and is at very best an average defender. ACL injury ruined him.

Parsons is solid to good, but still highly inconsistent.

Deron...below-average starting PG.

Lee...been very good, but he couldn't even get PT on GS or Boston.

That's it. Literally.

The rest of the players getting minutes are trash that wouldn't crack a second on a playoff roster...JJB...Felton...Zaza...Harris...Powell... :banghead

zaza and jjb would gets minutes. The rest probably wouldnt get minutes, I agree.

Yea thats why I said role player at best. He has struggled. It's strange, cause he never really relied on his athleticism before his injury

Nah, Zaza is done. Jumpshot abandoned him this year, he ruins spacing, and can't defend the rim. The Mavs desperately need a center and he even got benched by them. JJB? C'mon...we saw how he looked in Minny. He might get 5 minutes a night on the right team as a change of pace guy.

Matthews has no lift whatsoever. He's basically a cripple out there. I respect him...he's a tough dude...he's just finished as a quality NBA player...

LOL. Or you know, maybe if HISTORIC MAV HATER Dan Crawford didn't sit there and watch A BLATANT FOUL, this game would be tied? He BLATANTLY grabbed his jersey and hooked him. What an absolute joke. Worst non-call all year.

Also, the Mavs have, bar none, the *worst* backcourt in the NBA. On the previous possession Dirk was wide open *three* times and f**king scrub JJB doesn't give it to him, then throws it away.

And LMAO at telling Dirk to "work on his body." Dude is almost 38 and is one of THREE PLAYERS IN NBA HISTORY to average over 18 PPG. Dirk has better work ethic than anyone on your team.

Yo, calm the eff down junior. It was clearly a foul but I'm not surprised it didn't get called when it's a 6fter giving a forearm shiv to a 7fter in crunchtime. What do you expect?

And why would you bring up my team, the 60-6 Warriors? What do they have to do with Dirk, his work ethic, this game or this foul non-call? Only reason I can figure that you bring "my team" up is to point out that maybe if Dirk's work ethic was as good as say, oh I don't know, Steph Curry, he would be the best shooter ever? Ya think?

Tough loss kid. Better hope you don't get stuck with the 8th spot.

That shot clock violation with Austin Rivers was unreal. Any coach would perma bench a player for 2 games for that lol.

I mean that possession was just soooo bad. Over dribbling, ignoring Pierce having a mismatch, shooting late when you were already open for several seconds...

Him having 10 points on 4 shots has something to do with it.

Lmao at Isiah Thomas on NBA TV.

On Lavine and Wiggins.

"Athletically they're off the chart". Okay I agree.

"Defensively they're also off the chart". LOL what?

I don't think words can describe what happened with Klay's layups just now.

Warriors should be using games like these to rest Curry and Klay. The Warriors cheerleaders could probably win this game on their own if they wanted to, there's no need for Curry or Klay.

Dubs had 13 points with 4 minutes left in the quarter. Finish the quarter with 31.

See NBA, it's just that easy.

Yeah. The thing is, forcing Curry "off the line" doesn't really matter that much to him. And he's probably the only player in the league you can say that about.
