DeMar DeRozan getting exposed in the playoffs?

Yet another really terrible showing in the playoffs.
I always thought his 2013-14 All-Star selection was wack but he did deserve it this season, so perhaps he had turned a corner this season.
But at this point if he's not gonna show up for the playoffs after the last 2 years, he's never going to be ready for the big time. He's going to get max contract offers from multiple teams but I really wonder if they'll get far with him.

He is only getting exposed to USA market. I knew he would crap the bed in the playoffs. When they don't call his floppy plays has fouls so he can go to the free throw line. He is a trash defender. Harden at least can shoot 3s, has a good handle and create for teammates

I'm rooting for ya, TOR, but I was watching today's game and no one was able to step up and carry that team. Lowry/DD could be a legit 2-3 punch but TOR needs a #1. Someone like a Harden would actually fit really well with your pieces.

Offering the max to DeRozan makes no sense at this point. He has shown with a large enough sample size that he can't produce in the playoffs. Then what do the fans have to look forward to exactly? Another 50+ win regular season? I mean I'm a Lowry fan but even Lowry has disappeared as well. However, at least Lowry brings more to the team than just scoring, if DD is out there bricking he honestly becomes a pretty big liability. Series is not over though but Masai has got to be thinking to himself...
I mean you have Norman Powell who has shown more promise than DD had when he was a rookie since Powell has the makings of a great defensive player and a knock down 3pt shooter. He even showed flashes of living at the free throw line a few games this season absolutely carving up defenses. Plus the top 10 pick this year and you are looking at a quick rebuild of the core which would probably have more potential than this current one.

Someone will pay him but I don't think Raptors need to at all. Let Powell take over the role and invest that money into a 4 or something. I still think he's a good player but there is clearly a ceiling to what kind of usage and role he should play before he starts to become a liability. Hopefully he figures it out cause he can be a impactful player.

That would be a team with the most flops by far and the whole game will be on the free throw line

Raptors have no releventcy after choking the last 2 years but deFrozen going to Lakers would help us a lot

Derozan just isn't a #1 guy, but I still think he can be a 2b or #3 on a championship team.
L.A. isn't expecting anyone to replace Kobe. We know that will never happen.

Oh god no, Harden is an absolutely terrible fit. Jimmy Butler is the guy I want that would push us to the next level.
