PRP, which is said to promote healing, was given to Curry on the second day of his recovery process, he said.
Curry could be nearing a return to basketball activities nine days after suffering a Grade 1 MCL sprain.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers told 95.7 The Game earlier in the day he knew whether Curry received the PRP treatment, but directed questions to the reigning MVP.
"It's not my body, and it's not me," Myers said.

Good confirmation. I posted about this the day after the injury, as Iggy had PRP on his knees over the summer.

Hopefully, he is ready by Game 4 or 5 at the latest. He needs to be back in the flow of things against the Blazers if we want any hope of progressing past the WCF. 3 days of rest before Game 3 but rather he return Game 4 even if fit for 3. 5 days of rest and needs time for a fair bit of contact + 5 vs 5 drills.

Yeah, he should not rush back, they can lose the next one in Portland, but probably even 2-2 would not be a catastrophy if it means he is close to full health by the time game 5 rolls around. That would give him another 7-8 days of recovery.

Definitely no reason to play him yet, last night just proved GS is still too good w/o him to worry about Portland. This will be just like the Houston series, Portland will grab a game at home, but GS will easily close it out in 5 w/o Curry if need be.
I know that GS fans would like Curry to get a game or two before the WCFs to knock of the rust, but honestly that risk is too high compared to letting him rest as long as possible.

No need to risk the guy, before the WCF, let him rest, fully heal. One more injury could spell the end of the season for him. Why risk it?

If he goes into the WCF with no games in his pocket, he will be rusty and completely out of sync. He needs 1-2 games at least before playing contenders like OKC or Spurs.

Is his injury worse than originally thought? I thought this was used only to help avoid surgery.

You play him when he's healthy and ready to go. If he can go game three, play him.

Cortisone shots = Perfectly acceptable.
PEDs = OMG cheater.
Blood doping = OMG cheater.
Platelet injections = Isn't science great?
People are weird.

Blood doping and platelet injections aren't close to the same.
Platelets don't help you perform better, as they don't carry oxygen.
More red blood cells on the other hand = more oxygen = more stamina, which is an unfair advantage.

So he's wasting his money?
Anything that helps you recover faster makes you perform better than you would without it, especially if the alternative is not performing at all. If Curry comes back at 80% instead of 70% thanks to this procedure then that's performing better. If he comes back earlier than he would naturally, he's performing better.
Personally, I don't care. Shoot some HGH in there, whatever.
