So no matter what the tinfoils will have a field day tonight. If the Sixers win, clear proof that the draft is fixed and the team knew. If the Sixers dont wint, its because the nba did damage control to save face and changed the outcome.

They have a draw behind the scenes before the actual televised draw so someone might have leaked it

I think what happened is that he had the tweet ready to be sent in advance, but he accidentally hit the "send" button, haha. I have had my suspicions in the past, but it is silly to use this as any form of "proof".

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the initial drawing is done before they make the big scene in front of the cameras.

They take all the team representatives in the room and then do the drawing then, they have the televised version later. I sincerely doubt that Mutombo was given the supposed fix ahead of time or something.

Damn, this is definitive proof that the results are rigged. Silver and his team held a secret meeting today to determine the draft order and somehow there was a leak. Let's see if they have to call an emergency meeting to re-do the draft order thanks to Mutombo's blunder. Mutombo might be responsible for taking away the Sixers #1 pick.

Heard on the Dunc'd On podcast that the Sixers this year have like the highest chance ever of getting the #1 pick. But now if they get it it'll look rigged and if they don't people will see they took it away so people won't know its rigged :lol:

the draft can never not be controversial

Why in the world would the NBA rig the lottery for the Sixers?

Is this like when the NBA "rigged" the lottery so that two generation talents, Oden & Durant, went to two of their smallest markets? One market they had already decided to kill?

A case for the NBA lottery being rigged:
#1 picks going to LA, NY, or Chicago.

A case for the NBA lottery not being rigged:
#1 picks going to Minnesota (already happened) and Philly

They post it online. They don't show it on TV because it's not entertaining and instead they make it into an entertaining spectacle.
