I'm sure there was an understanding last year when he extended for 20 mil that Wade wanted that legacy contract after all he's done for the franchise. At the time Riley probably didn't think Whiteside could maintain that level of play or that Durant would become available.

Damn man, how high do you think state taxes are? It would take a 40% state tax rate for the player to have to pay $5 million more in state taxes due to half the games being played out of state. In reality it would cost Wade 4.63% to play half his games in Denver, or about $500,000.

This assumes that the Cavs, or any other playoff team, want to break up their team for the privilege of paying Wade $50M over two years. It's no accident the teams he's meeting with teams that missed the playoffs last year.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

You're not fooling anyone DWade. We all know your ass will be back in Miami next season. 0% chance he leaves. Although, this whole thing makes the Miami front office look terrible.

Shumpert and Frye have high contracts so they may be traded, the thing is they are very useful players, Irving-Wade-Lebron-Love-Thompson looks very good on paper but there is no bench and lack of defense.

Frye's a solid stretch 4 who makes less than $10 million per. Is that a high contract anymore?
