I figured if we are going to do this we might as well do it properly, here is my proposal.

Rules:
1) Post your predictions
2) I will record each prediction with its user ID
3) Once regular season finishes, I will report the analysis of
- Predicted vs actual finishing position for each team
- Best and worst predictors among us posters
5) Voting cutoff time is 10/25 0:00 ET

The hope is we contain all prediction into one thread, and with all the data collected, we have something meaningful to look back at the end of the season, and reward (shame) the best (worst) predictors. Safe to say I am not the best Excel user or data mining expert, so I welcome all suggestions, here or PM.

I think people are in general concerned about their health. Gasol back from a major injury on the wrong side of 30, Parsons enough said. Allen isn't getting younger. No doubt they have talent.

Jazz roll 10 deep and are mostly young, so I think they'll be a terror in the regular season:

3 best guys coming off serious injuries. If you're Memphis I think you slow play the regular season and you're happy with any playoff spot but 8th (Warriors in 1st round too scary) and then hoping you get 2 months of health.

Or the Spurs we've been picking them apart since that 2011 series
