Once upon a time there was this big 6'9 guy that had eyes behind his head that would dump the ball to a dominant center for a sky hook. Now that they have reached their happy ending, a new duo is in town.

Let's say Simmons and Embiid meet their potential and highest ceiling possible. They could be that modern Magic and Kareem duo.

Just look at the comparisons...

Simmons has similarities to Magic...size 6'9-6'10...ability to play PG at that size, good vision and amazing passes, great handles, passing ...there are similarities there.

Embiid...huge ceiling, and if he does meet that ceiling he could be dominant similar to Kareem.

Size comparison, Embiid 7'0 with 7'5 wingspan. Kareem, 7'1 with 7'5 wingspan. The exact same wingspan, pretty amazing.

Pretty exciting possibility in Philadelphia from that aspect.

Yeah, they could possibly be as good as modern day Magic and Kareem. Then again, those dudes are 60.

They have enormous potential but you're talking about the great PG and C to ever play the game. Pump the break a little bit

potential to be magic/kareem?

Zero - point - zero.

Sorry i dont see them both becoming top 10 all time players with embiid ending his career as arguably the GOAT. i think the odds of either one of them reaching that potential at just above zero, let alone both.

they arent even shaq and penny potential

Lol Embiid hasn't played a game in over two years dating back to college, he may never play a game. Let him play a game at least.

Is Embiid ever going to play? Gotta play before you are the best player of all time.
