If John Wall is truly unhappy in Washington, I could see the TWolves offering Dunn for him - then Thibs doesn't have to worry about developing a PG.

Very good in a few years...all-star type who can impact games for sure.

He can be an all-star for sure. I see him as a poor man Russ with better defense.

Chris Paul swagger on the court. From what I've seen, he looks like a star... we'll see.

Reminds me of Wade mostly. But since he'll be playing PG I'll go with Bledsoe.

That would be very nice if he hopefully falls somewhere between there.

Marcus Smart is his ceiling

Interesting bump. He has to be an insane disappointment on offense so far. Playmaking seems half decent but the being worse than Rubio at shooting from all areas of the court (especially at the rim) is crazy for a kid as athletic and old as he.

Defense seems to at least not be bad which was expected. 1.9sp36 and 1.0bp36.

Any hope for his offensive game? He seems terrible (like Delon Wright, who he reminds of me as a Raptor fan and at least Delon seems to draw fouls, because he's a terrible finisher too, shows good defensive potential like Delon).

seems like I'm going to be unpopular on this thread but... his rookie season was a jaw-dropping disappointment imo. I love Dunn, his raw defensive tools on the perimeter are elite, I wonder if he led the NBA in perimeter blocks per 36 this year (not sure how to find this stat). BUT he is so far away from being and NBA calibre offensive player, it was startling. His athleticism is unquestionable (reminiscent of anyone from Wall to D-Wade to Westbrook), but aside from the occasional flashy dribbling, he disapointed in every way on that side of the ball. I'm rooting for this guy, but he was projected as an NBA ready 22 year old and he's obviously a huge project. Right now he looks more like a combination of Tony Allen and Milt Palacio than he does like anyone who is average NBA point guard on offense... I'm holding out hope, but I think it's pretty blind love from T-Wolves fans to be throwing around the names that are being thrown around on this thread...

I hope his junior and senior seasons in college werent aberrations and he'll show up next season. If not Minnesota wasted that pick. Could've drafted Jamal Murray instead.

Marcus Smart is a winner, he makes plays that matter not necessarily on offense but the defensive end. Kris Dunn at the same age is, SAD!

Jaylen Brown (20) 6.4pts 2.8 rbs 0.7ast was by far the better draft pick at 3 everyone was bashing Ainge for not picking Dunn who clearly is the inferior player.

He has to improve his jumpshot to be anything more then a backup pg in this league. His Defense is already elite, so so passer, alright at driving the basketball, but his jumpshot is gonna hold him back it's that bad. If he can improve that aspect of his game he might one day be a nba starting pg, but until that happens he's gonna be a career backup. Their is no chance Thibs is looking to move Rubio to start Dunn after what he has seen unfold in Minnesota this year.

I wanted Kris Dunn to be good as I find the Timberwolves a team that is easy to root for as a 2nd team. I remember being surprised in the rookie survey that he was many of their picks for ROY if I remember right, I expected him to be sixth man quality by the end of the year but he is definitely still a ways. Hopefully he doesn't go the way of our recently drafted PGs.

Looks like Antonio Daniels 2.0 right now. Hope he turns it around.

At the start of the season I posted on Minny board that old rookies who can't shoot are no good. People didn't like it and got mean to me. Someone brought up Gary Payton. Lol, whatever.

His offensive limitations are pretty apparent. He can't create anything at all in the halfcourt (tho he's an average PG passer) so you can't play him at point guard. And he can't shoot at all. So he's looking like an off-guard that can't shoot but is great on defense. Like Patrick Beverly without the ability to knock down open shots. Yay.
