So how about Joel Embiid

Post#1 » by Hussien Fatal » Wed Oct 5, 2016 2:48 am

Are we really going to act like he didnt make his debut? The guy looks LEGIT! Smooth on both ends, athough he struggled with the double team. After almost three years off the floor its finally good to see this man on the court.

He's going to be good as long as he can stay healthy. A healthy Simmons and Embiid are nice foundation pieces for the Sixers.

This kid is going to be special if he stays healthy obviously. But damn he looked confident out there, as soon as he got the ball he made his move.

When he shakes the rust off and gets into better game shape he's going to be savage.

November 17th vs KAT is going to be must see TV.

I'm just crossing my fingers that he can actually stay healthy and not become the next Greg Oden.

Also it sucks that he can't play along side Ben Simmons any time soon.

It's vs Zeller, it doesn't count really. Everybody's molesting him.

Hopefully he stays healthy. Dude has some impressive footwork and nice touch when he has the ball.

That's the million dollar question though isn't it? Embiid has missed several years to injuries and Simmons is starting out the season injured. I wish them well but the 76ers will need to make certain they have depth as insurance in case of injury

Too soon man- he still has a lot of cobwebs to shake off. He's not nearly as fluid as he was in Kansas. I think take him at least a season to truly return to form. It's like Jabari Parker last season where you can see the flashes of brilliance, but the confidence/explosiveness takes a full season to return

He had a little play that looked scary on non contact, but he stayed in the game.

When I saw the game live, I didn't realize "The Process" did his move on T. Zeller. T. Zeller looks so small being next to Embiid.

Otherwise, even if he seemed rusty before his first FGM, he shows range and that he could be dominant in the post. It's so frustrating Celtics threw double team on him so early :banghead: .

Moreover, he is already very very intimidating in the paint.

 at "The Process". I kinda like it. I really hope he stays healthy. A rivalry between him, KAT, and KP would be great for the league.
